Thursday marked a milestone for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Central Texas when ground was broken for a new building on Hunter Road. Speakers included JoAnne Germer, president of the CASA board; county commissioners Lon Shell and Debbie Gonzales Ingalsbe; Mayor Jane Hughson and District Judge Bruce Bower.
