Employees of Martin Marietta get ready to remove the ropes attaching a more than 5,000 pound limestone boulder after using a truck crane to lift it into place by a footpath in Ramon Lucio Park. The boulder will be the base for a plaque commemorating the importance of the San Marcos River by the Comal Springs Chapter of the Society of Colonial Dames XVII.
