Sustainability Fair and native plant sale at the Discovery Center

Saturday’s Sustainability Fair & Native Plant Sale at the Discovery Center offered San Marcans willing to brave the rain a chance to learn about living a more environmentally sustainable lifestyle and purchase native plants and trees for their gardens. ERA Gardening and Landscaping services offered native plants, such as this black-eyed Susan and Flame Acanthus, in colorful pots and containers for purchase.

In the greenhouse, Holly Veselka sorts through Walker's Low Catmint plants as she selects new additions for her growing butterfly garden at the Sustainability Fair & Native Plant Sale at the Discovery Center.

One of the many presenters on site was Kasey Mire with the Central Texas Farmers Co-op to register people for the new season of produce pick-ups.
