Water Safari Prelim

After the announcer’s signal, Water Safari hopefuls paddle furiously down the San Marcos River after starting at City Park Sunday morning. The informal race was hosted by the Martindale Athletic Club to help get racers in the training mindset leading up to the Texas Water Safari kick-off on June 8. Daily Record photos by Denise Cathey
