'BIRDS OF PREY': Bird event featuring eagles, falcons, owls takes place at public library

The San Marcos Public Library hosted an event featuring eagles, falcons, hawks and owls.

Last Chance Forever — a nonprofit focused on bird rehabilitation — showcased three Birds of Prey shows on Wednesday.

The event taught children and adults the importance of the natural world, the place of raptors in the world and our connection to them.
