Central Texas Ballet

Young readers and dance enthusiasts got a special treat for Storyshare last Tuesday at the San Marcos Public Library with a visit from the Central Texas Ballet to read Susan Jeffers “The Nutcracker.” Above, the audience watches as the dancers perform the basic positions every student starts out learning. Before their demonstration, the dancers put on their soft dance shoes and stretch to get ready to show off their skills.  The event was one of several last week at the library intended to provide activities for youngsters during Spring Break.
