The City of San Marcos proclaimed the month of November as Turkey’s Tackling Hunger month in support of the Hays County Food Bank. The food bank has recently launched its annual Turkeys Tackling Hunger campaign in an effort to raise enough money to assist families with a special holiday meal with the funds raised and citizens can sponsor a family for Thanksgiving for just $30 from October through December.
