Builders FirstSource is set to relocate to Kyle, following decisions made by the Kyle City Council and Hays County Commissioners Court.
The nation’s largest manufacturer and building materials supplier will move its lumber yard and building supply distribution facility from Buda to a larger 47,000-square-foot building in Kyle. Builders FirstSource is set to create 40 new jobs in Kyle and will be an investment of more than $16 million in the region.
“We are excited for the opportunity to expand our footprint in Texas,” Builders FirstSource Division President Mike Hiller said. “Builders FirstSource is invested in building communities, and our growth in Texas not only benefits the people of Kyle, but our business as well.
