South Hays, area fire departments put out brush fire in San Marcos

South Hays Fire Department alongside firefighters from San Marcos, Wimberley, York Creek, Seguin and Geronimo responded to a large brush fire at Old Bastrop Road in San Marcos on Friday. Firefighters put out the blaze by the evening. A cause of the fire hadn’t been determined at press time. Daily Record photo by Nick Castillo
