Annual total is up overall for 2023
With the high price of groceries and utilities and the holiday season upcoming, it is no surprise that people are counting pennies and keeping them close. The tax allocations for last month have decreased by almost 3% from the previous year.
The decrease in sales from this time period last year has yet to make a dent in the overall sales for the year, which are substantial. The city has received $1,865,760 more for 2023 year to date, as compared to 2022.
