Texas State closes Sewell Park

Tuesday, March 24, 2020

Texas State University closed its on campus park, Sewell Park, effective at sunset Tuesday, March 24, in order to safeguard public health against the spread of COVID-19.

The park will remain closed until further notice, according to the press release. 

"Texas State continues to focus on the safety of our community and will adjust procedures as needed in the coming days, weeks and months," the press release said. "Please remember these declarations and enforcements are to protect our community as we all work together to stop the spread of the COVID-19 Pandemic."
