Smithville, Texas on March 8, 1933. Peggy loved San Marcos and considered it her home town. She was a graduate of San Marcos High school and worked at Aquarena as an Aquamaid.
Peggy Layton Strunk passed away peacefully on Jan. 21, 2019 in Fresno, California. She was born in
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents T.A. Layton and Julia Layton. Also her siseters Margie Layton Reeves and Shirley Layton Howard and brother Tommy Layton. She is survived by sons Cole and Coy and his wife Marnie and six grandchildren; her brothers Powell Layton and Robert Layton, and numerous nephews and nieces and friends.
