Peggy Wilkerson

Peggy Jeane Wilkerson, 84, of San Marcos, Texas, went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2021.

Peggy was born on February 24, 1937, in Bishop, Texas. She graduated from Bishop High School and attended both Baylor and Texas A&I Universities, receiving a teaching degree. She worked for Bishop CISD for more than 20 years until she retired.

She met and married the absolute love of her life, Charles, in 1957. They were married for 63 years and were virtually inseparable.

She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Alta Pierce, her husband Charles Wilkerson Sr., and son Charles Wilkerson Jr.

She is survived by her son Mark; daughter Jan; grandchildren BJ, Hailey (Curtis), Ashley, Ben (Brittany), Mark (Kristen), and Chris; as well as ten great-grandchildren.
