LBJ Museum to host 18th Annual Ted Breihan Open golf tournament

The LBJ Museum of San Marcos will be hosting its annual Golf Tournament, the Ted Breihan Open, on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Plum Creek Golf Course in Kyle. The format of the tournament is a Florida Scramble and all proceeds benefit the museum. Registration is at 7 a.m. with tee off at 8am concluding with a silent auction and lunch.

SMA celebrates re-opening of Davidson Hall on campus

During a March 9 ribbon cutting with the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce, San Marcos Academy celebrated the reopening of Davidson Hall, the school's Lower School building, which underwent a renovation recently from the foundation up.

Twice Blessed celebrates 20 years

In the first week of March, the Twice Blessed Consignment Shop celebrated its 20-year anniversary serving the San Marcos community. To date, the shop has raised nearly $1 million dollars since opening its doors on Feb. 20, 2001, giving the volunteer-based staff ample reason to celebrate.
