The Wimberley Players announce its third season of outdoor movies including Disney-Pixar’s animated adventure Up, rated PG, on June 4, the Baz Luhrmann musical, Moulin Rouge, rated PG-13, on June 17, and the classic favorite The Princess Bride, rated PG, on June 18.
Wimbereley Glassworks features 7,500 lbs. of glass wall art, dishware and lawn art within the studio.

Saturday morning, beneath the roasting early-May sun, head gaffer and owner of Wimberley Glassworks Tim de Jong labors with production manager Wes Sweetser in front of a red-hot furnace to produce an elegant Tiffany-style lampshade.

Penfold Theatre Company has announced cast and creatives for A War of the Worlds directed by Marcus McQuirter running June 2 – 18 at Ground Floor Theatre. Using the work by H.G. Wells & Orson Welles, and expanding on this historic radio cast, this world premiere by local playwright Jarrett King is the first in a series of new play commissions.

This brings the Cordyline group to a total of eight selections. Most of us have never seen a named variety of Hawaiian Ti known botanically as Cordyline fruticosa or Cordyline australis.
