Oath Keepers militia founder and former Granbury resident Stewart Rhodes was sentenced Thursday to 18 years in federal prison for seditious conspiracy after playing a leading role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol in an effort to keep Donald Trump in office.

Texas State dropped their Sun Belt Tournament Opener as the Bobcats were pushed back by arch-rival Louisiana in a 6-1 loss.

Celebrations have taken place throughout this week to honor all of the San Marcos CISD Pre-K students. Each ceremony recognized children for their accomplishments and included music.
