With 22 events featuring Bobcats, the Texas State track and field team is set to compete and aiming to qualify for the NCAA Championships with the 2023 NCAA West Prelims in Sacramento this Wednesday through Saturday at Hornet Stadium.

Spring practice concluded for San Marcos, ending with the annual Purple and White Spring Game with Team Purple defeating Team White, 35-7.
It seems as people get older, the interest in history becomes increasingly important. Whether it is a family history and ancestry or past events that they recall. It seems as if when the senior citizens of today talk to the younger generations there is a lack of knowledge of individuals that made a change in history or even some of the major events that took place.
The Rotary Club of San Marcos sponsored its annual Scramble 4 Scholarships on May 12. The club successfully raising more than $10,000 that goes to funding numerous scholarships for San Marcos area seniors.
