In a document shared with the Daily Record on Tuesday, former Texas State graduate assistant coach Cody San Miguel and several former players released statements in support of men’s basketball head coach Danny Kaspar.
Those included in the document are former Bobcats Ojai Black (2014-17), Bobby Conley (2015-17), Deris Duncan (2016-18), Kavin Gilder-Tilbury (2013-17), Nathan Josephs (2015-17), Ethan Montalvo (2014-16) and one player who chose to remain anonymous.
The statements come after former Texas State point guard Jaylen Shead rebuked Kaspar on Twitter last week for using racially insensitive comments toward players.
