Historical Commission seeks applications for historical markers
The window to submit a historical marker application to the Texas Historical Commission is currently open. Between now and May 15, local individuals or groups can apply. Each year, the Hays County Historical Commission works with those wishing to apply for a historical marker from the THC.

DEAR ABBY: My 28-yearold daughter moved back home when COVID hit. She works as an influencer and also has a part-time job as a content creator. She doesn’t pay bills. My husband doesn’t want her to pay rent, etc. I feel it’s important for her to do so. She does pay for her groceries and gas.
