Tanger Outlets San Marcos celebrates Earth Day
Tanger Outlets San Marcos continued its commitment to making the center and the planet a little greener with a tree-planting initiative in honor of Earth Day. This event was a part of a nationwide Tanger Outlets program to make a difference, one tree at a time. As a step in helping purify the atmosphere’s air and create fresh oxygen sources, every U.S. Tanger center planted a tree, and all team members were encouraged to participate in environmentally focused efforts and volunteerism in their communities to celebrate Earth Day. It is as if they had been given the task of announcing the arrival of spring and the butterfly season. Over the past 12 months, the Price Center Arts Committee has overseen the installation of 10 new pieces of permanent outdoor art in the center’s showcase garden.
