There has been a lot of love in the world of petunias over the past couple of years, thanks to one very unique variety — Supertunia Lovie Dovie. We have all seen petunias: some with stripes, some stars, others halos and blushes, but there is a special one with hearts.

In support of National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, April 2022, an art exhibition and educational program, Reshaping Trauma Through Art will be held at The Price Center, 222 W. San Antonio St. in San Marcos, April 1 through April 25. Jennifer Epperson, Texas artist and activist, will show art created as part of healing from sexual assault. The program includes a formal presentation on April 23, from 6 - 8 p.m., using art to illustrate the artist’s personal story and to create awareness of sexual assault. Two informal docent tours led by the artist are on April 8 and April 21 from 3:30 - 5 p.m. These interactive tours will focus on the creative process. Opening night of the event will be held at The Price Center on April 1 from 6 - 8 p.m. The exhibit and events are free and open to the public.
