BOBCATS PICKOFF BOWL WIN
In a game featuring five interceptions by the Bobcat defense, a Texas State offensive lineman scoring a touchdown, Gerald R. Ford Stadium running out of beer and the Bobcats setting a new attendance record, it was fitting that the first ever bowl game for Texas State was an unforgettable one.

ECONOMIST: Looking at long-term projections
The seven largest metropolitan areas in Texas drive the overall pace of growth, accounting for nearly eight of every 10 net new jobs. From AI and inflation to Elon Musk and Taylor Swift, the business stories that dominated the year 2023
The tide turned against inflation. Artificial intelligence went mainstream — for good or ill. Labor unions capitalized on their growing might to win more generous pay and benefits. Couple’s evolving romance now includes parenthood
DEAR ABBY: I have been seeing the same man for a year and a half. In the beginning, we were, basically, friends with benefits, and we were OK with that. Having both gone through recent breakups or divorce, neither of us wanted anything serious. However, after six months passed, I started falling for him. He always made clear that if he didn’t want to go down that road, we would break ties, but the way he acted indicated that maybe one day there would be more.
