After a regular season in which the Bobcats set five outdoor school records and posted marks or times that pace the Sun Belt in 10 different events, Texas State track and field is set to compete in the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships this Thursday through Saturday in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
San Marcos found themselves back on the gridiron once more as the Rattlers prepare for the 2023 football season.

Texas State softball had two players named to the 2023 All-Sun Belt Conference Team. Pitcher Jessica Mullins was named to the First Team and third baseman Sara Vanderford was named to the Second Team.
The road to Oklahoma City starts this week for the Bobcats as Texas State enters the Sun Belt Conference Softball Tournament.
With the rain Saturday affecting everything, members of the San Marcos High School Rattlers posed for a post game celebration photograph. The team took the Bi-District Championship by defeating San Antonio Churchill.

Enduring an hour-long lightning episode, playing in two different stadiums and having a benches clearing moment, San Marcos outscored Churchill in the final two innings to claim their first Bi-District Championship since 2018, defeating the Chargers 5-2.
An 8th inning rally was just enough as Texas State put away Georgia State 7-5 to complete the three game sweep over the Panthers.
