Andrew W. Cable

Andrew W. Cable resides in Wimberley and was elected in 1998 to his first term as Justice of the Peace for Precinct 3 of Hays County. In addition to being a Justice of the Peace, Cable also serves a commissioner in two organizations: (1) the Hays County Emergency Service District; and (2) the State Pension Review Board. In both of these bodies, Judge Cable serves in an unpaid citizen-volunteer capacity. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Texas State University (formerly known as Southwest Texas State University) in 1992, and his Master’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2007. He is certified in Alternative Dispute Resolution for civil and family disputes, and has extensive courses in real estate law, finance and deed restrictions.
