Elizabeth Davis Frizell, Democrate. is running for election for the Place 3 judge of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.  Frizell was a judge of the Dallas County Criminal District Court No. 7 in Texas. She assumed office in 2007 and left office in 2017.

Prior to her position as judge of the Dallas County Criminal District Court No. 7 in Dallas, Frizell was an associate municipal court judge for the city of Dallas. She also previously worked in private practice at her own firm and for the Department of Justice.

Frizell received her undergraduate degree from Prairie View A&M University and her J.D. from Texas Southern University.
