Ruben Becerra is a 2018 Democratic candidate seeking election to the position of Hays County Judge. Becerra is a San Marcos business owner of three of San Marcos’ local icons — Gil’s Broiler, Manske Roll Bakery and Dixie Cream Donuts. Becerra has served on several boards and commissions for San Marcos CISD, Main Street, San Marcos Planning & Zoning, the San Marcos Downtown Association and Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos.
