Heritage Association to host Easter Egg Hunt April 16

The Heritage Association of San Marcos will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Veramendi Park, 400 E. Hopkins St.

The Easter Egg Hunt is limited to 100 children ages two to twelve years old, so registration is necessary to participate. To register, go to HeritageSanMarcos.org.

Schedule includes:

11 a.m. — Get pass, map of park activities and raffle rules

11:30 a.m. — Easter Egg Hunt begins and will end at 11:45 a.m.

11:45 a.m. — Activities begin: turtle petting zoo, egg decorating, pin the tail on the bunny, corn hole toss, beaded bracelets, face painting, hat decorating, arts and crafts and more for.

The event will feature live music. Hamburgers and hot dogs will also be sold. Lawn chairs and beach blankets for Easter picnics ewncouraged.

Hidden Easter eggs contain raffle tickets.

At 12:30 p.m., there will be a raffle drawing for kids, plus prizes for parents.

This all-ages event is free and open to the public.
