First Tuesday SMTX invites audiences to rediscover the night sky with “The Stars at Night” on April 2 at The Price Center. A feature documentary exploring the connection between astronomy, mythology and original storytelling, “The Stars at Night” utilizes expert interviews combined with an expedition to one of North America’s last truly dark sky communities to explore the impacts of light pollution on our culture. An official selection in the 2023 Austin Film Festival, “The Stars at Night” asks audiences to consider what stories may have never been told had storytellers never seen the stars.

Although many desserts make for a sweet ending to delicious meals, there’s something so inviting about a moist and tender cobbler to add to that yum factor. Cobbler consists of a fruit filling covered in a biscuit batter of sorts. When baked, the ingredients blend together to form a spoonable treat that is tender but with the right amount of bite.
