HASM to honor Bruce Ingram at Memorial Grove this Friday

The River Walk Park Committee of the Heritage Association of San Marcos (HASM) has announced the late Bruce Ingram will be honored at the 2019 Heritage Arbor Day ceremony. 

The event is held annually at the Memorial Grove in Juan Verimendi Park and honors “a distinguished citizen who made outstanding contributions to the enhancement of life within the community during his or her lifetime.”

Ingram, who passed away in December of last year, has been a part of the San Marcos community since 1970 and will be honored on Friday, March 8, at 5 p.m. in the Verimendi Plaza Memorial Grove, CM Allen Parkway and East Hopkins Street. 

In the event of rain, the alternative site will be at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 W. Hopkins Street.
