Nash Family endows scholarship at SMA

Thursday, May 2, 2019

Elizabeth and Chuck Nash have established a scholarship at San Marcos Academy in honor of their three daughters, who graduated from the school.

The Anne, Katherine and Caroline Nash Endowed Scholarship was established in honor of Anne Nash Davies of Dallas, who graduated from SMA in 1997; Katherine Nash Goehring of Austin, a 1999 graduate; and Caroline Nash Smith of Austin, who graduated in 2001.

All three sisters were highly involved in campus organizations and leadership programs during their time at the Academy. They each served as president of their respective classes and were leaders in the COEDS Program.  Each also participated in the Corps of Cadets Sweetheart Pageant and was selected as Corps Sweetheart.

Proceeds from the Endowed Scholarship will be used each year to assist a San Marcos girl who demonstrates positive leadership in the classroom and in the community.
