Stitching Smiles
Operation Stitch-A-Smile was in full swing Dec. 20 with offenders at Kyle Correctional Facility crocheting toys, blankets and other goodies to donate to those in need of a little handmade cheer for the holidays. James Davis and Timothy Richardson proudly hold up their in-progress Minion and Spiderman they were making that evening for a Seguin group to take to children in hospitals or shelters over the holidays. The facility accepts yarn donations year-round. Daily Record photos by Denise Cathey
