Hays County Livestock Show opens with horse show, crowning of Queen

The Hays County Livestock Show Queen’s Court and Ambassadors were presented at the opening of this year’s show on Saturday at Dripping Springs Ranch Park. Members of the court were selected based on academic achievement, citizenship and community involvement.

This year’s show judges are: Brock Herren for swine; Lane Halfmann for goats; Charles Praue for ag mech, Vickie Muni for horses, Stephen Zoeller for cattle, Denton Lowe for lamb; Michael Haynes for poultry and Frank Farrow for rabbits.
