Police arrest man in connection to early Monday I-35 homicide

San Marcos Police reported they have located and taken into custody a man wanted in connection to a homicide that occurred early Monday in the 900 block of N. Interstate-35, according to information provided by city officials.

San Marcos Police said that Andre Symon, 32, was taken into custody without incident Monday afternoon and the investigation into the homicide is ongoing. Police had released a description of Symon earlier in the day, noting that he was traveling southbound away from the area near the homicide. The public was advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, prior to the arrest Monday. As of time of press, there was no other information available pertaining to the alleged murder and no charges had yet been filed for Symon.
