San Marcos Bluebonnet Lions sponsor Texas Lions Camp campers

The Bluebonnet Lions sponsored Texas Lions Camp campers, McKenna and Lenea Poole on the week of July 1-5, 2019. This is the second year the Club had the honor of sponsoring McKenna and Lenea. The girls were excited to see friends they had made last summer and meet new counselors that can sometimes come from other parts of the world. Texas Lions Camp is located in Kerrville and is one of the world’s premier summer camps. Texas Lions Camp was founded in 1949 and dedicated to the perpetual enjoyment of children who have physical disabilities. Today, TLC serves about 1,500 excited campers per summer and has provided services to more than 70,000 since its inception. Lions Clubs all over Texas sponsor deserving children to attend one week of camp at no cost to the parent.  Photos submitted by the San Marcos Bluebonnet Lions
