San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter Pets of the Week

Both pets are available for adoption at the San Marcos Regional Shelter. All ready-to-go pets, defined as cats and dogs that have already been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, are $22 until further notice. This special price includes spay/neuter, vet exam, vaccinations and a microchip. To meet our pets, please visit us in person at the shelter, open from noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. Dog of the Week: Bosco

Bosco is a handsome 2-year-old who loves playing outside and is always up for an adventure. He likes to pick his dog friends, so if you’re interested in adopting this cutie, bring your pup to the shelter to have an interaction with Bosco to see if he approves. Bosco loves spending time outside running around and playing fetch. If you’re looking for an adventure buddy, look no further. Bosco has been looking for a furever home since February 15, 2022. Cat of the Week: Theon

Don’t you think Theon is the cutest panther you’ve ever seen? But don’t tell him that! He likes to keep a tough exterior, even though he’s a big cuddle bug. Theon loves to explore and has always been interested in one of those cool catio contraptions, so enjoy the great outdoor without going too far away from his human. If you have yummy treats and plenty of time to give Theon lots of attention, you’ll have a new best friend! Since this handsome fella is healthy and only 2 years old, you will be able to make loads of memories. Come meet him!
