SMHS Class of 2019 celebrates commencement

Valedictorian Isabella Joyce De La Iglesia gave an address about being humble at the SMHS graduation ceremony. She told her fellow graduates that her GPA does not make her any better than them and urged graduates to put down their smart phones and talk with other people. De La Iglesia received scholarships from the San Marcos Lions Club, the San Marcos Art League and the Rice Harrington scholarship.
