SMPD officer involved in shooting

San Marcos Police will brief the media at 11 a.m. today about an officer-involved shooting that occurred Friday night in downtown San Marcos.
Police have not offered details but Charlie Wilkison, executive director of the Combined Law Enforcement Association of Texas (CLEAT), a suspect who was apprehended pulled a gun on officers, who were forced to return fire, killing the suspect.
