SMUUF performs maintenance on Craddock medians
When the improvements by the City of San Marcos were made to the medians on Craddock Avenue, the San Marcos Unitarian Universalist Fellowship volunteered to care for the three medians closest to their property on Craddock Avenue. SMUUF has not yet built a church on their property there but they feel a responsibility to care for the area.
This summer, three volunteer SMUUF groups have gathered on Saturday mornings on June 29, July 13, and August 24, to remove weeds, pick up trash, and otherwise maintain the medians. The City provides traffic cones, gloves, tools and bags for clippings and trash.
