Two World War II veterans honored at VFW Post 3413

Two World War II veterans received the Quilt of Valor at Maurice T. Suttles VFW Post 3413. The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members/veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. They have made many quilts for active duty service members, hospitals and veterans. Jack and Barbara Steers, with Quilts of Valor, presented Cecil Dykes, from VFW Post 7110, New Braunfels and Domingo “Toby” Tobias with their Quilt of Valor. Photos submitted by VFW Post 3413

Unfortunately Tobias passed away on June 5, 2019. Tobias' two sons Anthony and Robert received the quilt in honor of their father. Pictured are Dykes with Carol Brietzke, Anthony and Robert Tobias.
