Warrant roundup continuing

San Marcos Police and the City Marshal’s Office are joining law enforcement agencies across Texas for a warrant roundup that began Tuesday, with increased enforcement the entire month of March. 

The San Marcos Municipal Court of Record has a warrant search posted on its website along with a list of people who have unresolved cases needing immediate attention. 

“Warrants don’t go away unless you take steps to address them,” said Deputy Marshal Tracy Balusek. “If you have a warrant, contact the San Marcos Municipal Court to make arrangements for payment.”

Additionally, the Law Firm of Perdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins & Mott LLP has been contracted to assist with collections. All law firm contacts will direct defendants to the court for payments.

The Municipal Court accepts cash, checks, money orders, cashier’s checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Individuals may make credit card payments directly to the court by phone during regular court hours, or 24/7 when paying in full online. Those who mail their payments should include their driver’s license number and case or ticket number to ensure proper credit. Payments may be mailed to Municipal Court, City of San Marcos, 712 S. Stagecoach Trail #2233, San Marcos, TX 78666.
