ReStore ribbon cutting
On Thursday, San Marcos got its very own Habitat for Humanity ReStore, with the organization holding a ribbon cutting before officially opening the doors to the public. Above, flanked by San Marcos Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, Austin Habitat for Humanity board chair Curtis Page (center) prepares the ceremonial scissors to to cut the ribbon and officially open the store.
Page shares with the crowd how excited he was when he woke up this morning to open the San Marcos ReStore. The ReStore offers building supplies and home decor for sale with proceeds going to build affordable homes in the San Marcos area. Daily Record photos by Denise Cathey
