Lenora Ybarra

Lenora Ybarra, age 72, of Martindale, TX, was called to rest on Monday April 15th, 2019 at Seton Hospital in Kyle. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Adolfo Ybarra, Jr. and her four children Mark Anthony, Sharon, Jennifer and Lisa Marie and their significant others Autumn Ybarra, Eric Rey, Ché Romero and David Allen.

Lenora was born on April 1, 1947 in Staples, TX to Enrique and Juana Torres. She moved to San Marcos, TX in 1951 along with her parents and five siblings Henry, Alex, Elida, Salvador and Robert. Lenora was a devoted wife and mother and will always be remembered for her high-spirited personality, glorious sense of humor and her infectious laugh. More than anything, she loved spending time with her immediate and extended family, especially her nine grandchildren Jasmine Brittney and Skyler Kaitlyn Ybarra; Madison Reese, Bryce Alexis and Aubrey Taylor Rey; Christian Ché and Milo Jude Romero; Hayley Ann White and Isaiah Carter Allen; and her two great grandchildren Mallory Mya Rayne and Silas Cash Saucedo. Her entire family will always carry her in their hearts and miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held at Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos, TX on Monday, April 22nd, 2019 from 4 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 7 p.m. A burial Mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning, April 23rd, at St. John’s Catholic Church in San Marcos.
