2020 Polar Bear Plunge & Potluck

Friday, December 27, 2019

As is tradition in San Marcos, every first day of the New Year begins with a plunge into the 72 degree San Marcos River.

While many humans and dogs unreservedly leapt into the water, one dog seemed to be considering its options after its human companion had already taken the plunge.

After the plunge, FUNBOAT Adventures is hosting a potluck at Splash Coworking. Participants with FUNBOAT meet up at Splash Coworking, 326 N LBJ Dr., to warm-up, change clothes and enjoy food together for New Year's Day.

FUNBOAT Adventures is also using their potluck event to allow the community to speak about what they hope to accomplish put out into the universe in 2020. For more information about the 2020 Polar Bear Plunge and Potluck, visit the Facebook event page.

Note: The original story contained an error that stated that FUNBOAT Adventures was hosting the plunge. They are only hosting the potluck at Splash Coworking.
