Andrea was born on Feb. 4, 1922, in San Marcos, TX. Andrea’s life was remarkable in so many ways. She grew up during the Great Depression when so many families, like hers, were struggling to make ends meet. She met Frank in Austin where she worked in a department store. They were married on Feb. 12, 1945, while he was serving in the Navy during WWII. When his tour of duty ended, they returned to Texas and re-settled in San Marcos to raise a family. Many years later, as Frank approached retirement from civil service at Randolph AFB, the couple moved to Schertz in 1978 with their youngest son, Bill.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Schertz, located at 1065 E Live Oak Road. Ann will be interred in a private ceremony at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery, alongside the remains of her husband Frank. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

You are invited to sign the electronic guestbook on the Schertz Funeral Home's website.
