Billie Glorioso

Billie Glorioso of San Marcos, Texas passed away at the age of 96, on the 25th of July, 2018, surrounded by her children. Billie was a loving Wife and Mother. She is preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Joseph John Glorioso and son-in-law, Dr. W C Daniels. Throughout her life, Billie demonstrated strength and kindness in the face of any challenge.

As an only child, Billie grew up in Mobile, Alabama, where she attended a private boarding school. She finished her schooling at St. Agnes, Houston, Texas. Billie loved spending summers in New Orleans with relatives, playing tennis and riding horses.

After high school, Billie met the love of her life, Joe, and they married in Galveston, Texas. Billie was an avid gardener and President of the Cedar Lawn Garden Club. Billie loved opening her home to family and friends and was known for her delicious cooking and special desserts. She enjoyed volunteer work and provided many meals and holiday dinners for those in need. Later, the family moved to Houston, and then to San Marcos.

Billie is survived by her two children, John Thomas Glorioso, Lurline Glorioso Daniels and daughter-in-Law, Sandra.

A memorial service will be held at Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Rd, Houston, Tx 77055 on Aug. 3, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
