Delfina Turnini Rodriguez, a resident of Martindale, passed away Dec. 19, 2018 at the age of 86.  Delfina was born in San Marcos, Texas to Refugia (Soto) Turnini and Francisco Turnini.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Fernando Rodriguez, her parents, brothers Richard and Robert Turnini and sisters Vilma Ybarra and Margie Sandoval Ybarra.

Delfina is survived by daughter Cindy Lawton (Richard) of Kyle, grandchildren Tessa Lawton and Brice Lawton as well as four great-grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 21, 2018 at Los Angeles Funeral Home and Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Martindale with burial to follow at Memory Lawn in Martindale with Rev. Father Rafael Padilla officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Lawn Memorial Park, Martindale.

The family would like to thank Hays Nursing Center for Delfina’s care over the last few years and Heart to Heart Hospice for their compassionate and caring support in her final days.
