Georgia Ann Morris

Georgia Ann Morris of Maxwell, Texas passed away at the age of 75 on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Georgia was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on March 17, 1945 to the late Tommy Lam and Margaret Lam.

Georgia was the sweetest and kindest soul; she was loved by all that had the pleasure of meeting her either in person or by social media. One of her favorite activities was baking for family and friends along with love of reading and working puzzles.

Georgia is preceded in death by brother David Lam and sister Agnes Bridges. She is survived by her sister Faye Shifflett and husband Ernest Shifflett; sister-n-law Shirley Lam; brother Ricky Lam and wife Debby Lam; her son Faron Morris and wife Liz Morris; granddaughters Samantha Morris and spouse Matt Benitez; Faith Parsons and husband Travis Parsons; grandsons Felix Oranday and wife Demetra Oranday; Joshua Morris and wife Julia Morris; and Christopher Morris; 12 great grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews and friends.

Georgia was the greatest mom, grandmother, great grandmother and friend anyone could wish or ask for in their life.

Visitation is Monday, October 26, 5-7 p.m. at Pennington Funeral Home in San Marcos, Texas.

Service is Tuesday, October 27, 10 a.m. at Pennington Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
