Gloria Reyes Garza passed away in the arms of the Lord, on March 5, 2019 at the age of 68.
Born in San Marcos, TX to Pedro and Elisa Reyes on June 14, 1950, she will be missed by those whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents Pedro Diaz Reyes and Elisa Ramirez Reyes; sisters Aurora Reyes, Lupita Reyes, Janie Lozano and Lupe Vara-Lopez; brothers Felix Reyes and Pete Reyes; infant son Ernest Sanchez, Jr. and infant daughter Michelle Sanchez.
Left to treasure her memory is her husband Ruben Garza and her sister Julia Quinter of Kyle, children Ernest Sanchez and wife Cynthia, Roy Sanchez and wife Michelle and Esmeralda Hernandez and husband Leonard and various nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Jessica Sanchez, Jennifer Ward husband Devin, Nathan Sanchez, Jonathan Sanchez, Roy Sanchez, Jr., Eric Reeves, Matthew Reeves, Marisol Medina and Nicolas Medina; and great grandchildren Soledad Echevarria, Julia Sanchez, Claudia Sanchez, Azariah Ward and Eliana Ward.
Pallbearers will be Eric Reeves, Matthew Reeves, Luis M. Hernandez, Nathaniel Sanchez, Leonard Hernandez, Ruben Ortiz, Mark Mendoza along with honorary pallbearers R.J. Sanchez and Nicolas Medina.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on March 12, 2019 at Pennington Funeral Home.
A funeral service of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Sinai Pentecostal Church in San Marcos. Rite of Committal will follow in Reedville Cemetery in Reedville.
