James Robert “J.R.” Chisam, 84, of San Marcos, Texas, died on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Visitation will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 9 at Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos. A graveside service will take place later that day at 2:45 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with limited attendance. Arrangements are under the direction of Thomason Funeral Home.
