Nora Cruz Sandoval

Our beloved Nora Cruz Sandoval born on July 27, 1957, went home to be with our Lord on May 6, 2021. Nora is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro & Hortencia Sandoval, her brothers, Tony Cruz Sandoval and Richard Cruz Sandoval.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Esquivel, her daughter, Francine Franco, her son, Paul Garcia, her sister, Janie Sandoval Garza, her brother, Tito Marines, 2 grandchildren, one great- grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Nora loved life and she lived it to the fullest. She was fierce and LOUD, especially when she laughed. She loved her music, dancing, long country rides and her special trips to Galveston with Joe, shopping with him and her children. She had the biggest green thumb ever, there was not a plant she could not bring back to life. She had the biggest heart for her family and friends, always welcoming and loving to cook for everyone.

She will be greatly missed by all of us - but we know that God has healed her and she is dancing and singing in Heaven. We know she will take every opportunity God gives her to check in on the people she loved. So until we meet again Nora, we “Hope you Dance”.

A Rosary & Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Martindale, TX beginning at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
